A One-Time Password (OTP) is a unique 6 digit code that will be sent via SMS to your registered mobile number every time you login and transact in RCBC Online Banking.
2.) How does a One-Time Password provide better online security?
A One-Time Password serves as an additional layer of security to your online account. Since the OTP is sent to your registered mobile number, only you have access to the OTP which is needed to complete the login process and transaction.
Do not divulge your OTP to others. Anyone from RCBC will NEVER ask for your password.
3.) How do I update my mobile number to receive OTP?
Please visit any RCBC branch to update your mobile number.

The OTP via App will be sent through push-notification of RCBC Pulz app. You need to download the RCBC Pulz app and register your mobile device to the app to be able to receive the push-notification.
2.) What is Push-Notification?
Push notification is a small, pop-up message sent by a mobile app (like a text message) to a user’s device. Unlike SMS that is used as a means of conversational communication, push notifications are designed to deliver important information, updates, promotion and more, in a personal way as related to the app.

No. You need to set a primary device. The primary device will be the only device that will receive the OTP via App.
4.) Can I set more than one mobile device as my primary device?
No. You can only set one (1) primary device. RCBC Pulz will also limit the number of registered devices to a maximum of three (3).
5.) If I enable the OTP via App, will I receive OTP via SMS?

6.) Can I use the OTP via App in my transactions done in RCBC Online Banking web portal?
Yes. OTP via App is a valid OTP that can be used for both RCBC Online Banking web and mobile applications.
7.) I already set a primary device, but I still did not receive the OTP sent via App?
Notifications must be enabled for your RCBC Pulz app to be able to receive push-notifications. Please check the settings of the app on your device.
8.) I accidentally closed the push-notification containing my OTP, what will I do?
You may click the “Get OTP via App” again to resend the OTP.
9.) Will I be blocked if I entered an invalid OTP sent via App?
Yes, you will be blocked after three invalid entries of OTP.

You may remove the lost device from your registered devices in RCBC Online Banking web portal to disable it from receiving OTP sent via push notification.
