Q   :     What is an Online Statement?

A    :     Online Statement is a digital version of your checking account statement. Individual clients may access their online statements by enrolling their checking accounts in RCBC Online Banking Retail facility (https://www.rcbconlinebanking.com/web/lg/Login/Index/).   

 

Q   :     Why should I switch to Online Statement?

A    :     Online statement allows us to serve you better since these are:

  • You can view your account activity anytime, anywhere, without going to your Branch of Account
  • Only you can access your statements with your log-in credentials and an SMS-based one-time password (OTP)
  • Eco-conscious. You can reduce paper waste by accessing online statements in lieu of printed ones.

           

Q   :     I have a joint account. Can I enroll this in RCBC Online Banking Retail?

A    :     For joint-OR accounts, only the primary accountholder can enroll the account online.          

            For joint-AND accounts, online enrollment is not allowed due to the signing arrangement of the account. By default, statements of such accounts shall be provided for free via on-demand printing at branch, or via registered mail, depending on your instructions/preference.

 

Q   :     I do not have an existing account in RCBC Online Banking. How do I enroll my checking account?

A    :     To enroll in RCBC Online Banking, follow these steps:

  1. Visit https://www.rcbconlinebanking.com/web/lg/Login/Index/
  2. Click ‘Enroll Now’.
  3. Enter your account or card number.
  4. Read and agree to the Terms & Conditions.
  5. Enter the One-Time Password sent to your mobile.
  6. Provide required online account details.
  7. Confirm and submit your account details.

 

Q   :     I already have access to RCBC Online Banking, but have not yet enrolled by checking account. How do I add this?

A    :     If you already have access to ROR, but have not added your checking account, you may do so by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your RCBC Online Banking account.
  2. Click ‘Manage My Accounts’.
  3. Click ‘Add Account’ at the upper right hand corner of the screen.
  4. Enter the account or card number that you wish to add.
  5. Read and agree to the Terms & Conditions.
  6. Confirm and submit your account details.

 

Q   :     I am already enrolled in RCBC Online Banking. How can I view my statement online?

A    :     To view your statement, just follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your RCBC Online Banking account.
  2. On the dashboard, click ‘View Statements’.
  3. Under ‘Statement of Account’, select the corresponding account number and month, and then click view.

Note: Statement for the current month will only be available for viewing on the next calendar month.

 

Q   :     Do I have to pay a fee to access Online Statements?

A    :     Accessing Online Statements is free. Just enroll your checking account in RCBC Online Banking.

 

Q   :     Once enrolled, will my statements be available for viewing immediately?

A    :     Upon enrollment, you will receive an SMS and/or email notification, once your first statement is available for viewing online. Moving forward, you will be able to view online statements up to the last 3 months.

 

Q   :     Can I print and/or download my statement from RCBC Online Banking?

A    :     Yes. The icons for these options will appear at the top of your Online Statement once it is displayed on your screen.

 

Q   :     Can I get my statements via e-mail instead?

A    :     The Bank is currently exploring the option to send a large amount of encrypted information via a secured e-mail facility. For now Online Statements may be viewed primarily through RCBC Online Banking facility.

 

Q   :     I prefer printed Statements/I can’t access RCBC Online Banking. Can I request for printed statements instead?

A    :     Printed statements may still be provided through the following means, which may be subject to fees:

Monthly Delivery to your Address

  • Visit any RCBC branch and request for monthly delivery of your statement via Mail (one-time request)
  • Fee of PHP 100.00 per statement (automatically charged to your account) for individual and joint-OR clients
  • Free for all joint-AND accounts

On-Demand Printing at Branch

  • Visit any RCBC branch and request for printing of your statement, as needed
  • Fee of PHP 300.00 per statement (to be collected upon request) for individual and joint-OR clients
  • Free for joint-AND accounts with no instructions for monthly delivery via mail

 

Q   :     Can I still request for printed statements even if I’m already enrolled in RCBC Online Banking?

A    :     Yes. You may visit any RCBC branch and request for printing of your statement, for a fee of PHP 300.00 per statement, except for joint-AND accounts with no instructions for monthly delivery of statement via mail.

 

Q   :     What happens if I do not enroll my checking account in RCBC Online Banking?

A    :     Unless you request for printed statements via mail or at the branch, you will not receive a copy of your statement if you are not enrolled in RCBC Online Banking. Monthly, an SMS will be sent to your mobile number notifying you to view your account statement online.

 

Q   :     I already enrolled my checking account in RCBC Online Banking but my statement is not available. Why can’t I view my statement?

A    :     Note that upon enrolment, your statements may not be available for viewing immediately. You will receive an SMS and/or email notification, once your first statement is available for viewing online.
