Notice to Public: Common Trust Funds

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

In compliance with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) directive issued in 2006 to discontinue Common Trust Funds (CTFs), we are reaching out to all remaining clients of the following funds to facilitate the redemption of their accounts through RCBC Trust Corporation (formerly the Trust and Investments Group of Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation). We kindly request that you reach out to RCBC Trust no later than January 31, 2025. After the said deadline, all unredeemed funds will be subject to escheatment and will be turned over to the Bureau of Treasury as required by Republic Act No. 3936 (entitled “An Act Requiring Banks, Trust Corporations, Building and Loan Associations, To Transfer Unclaimed Balances Held By Them To The Treasurer of the Philippines and For Other Purposes”), as amended by Presidential Decree (PD) No. 679 or the Unclaimed Balances Law.

To redeem your funds, you may visit the branch where you booked your CTF account and bring the following documents:

1. One valid government-issued ID (required for all Funds)
2. Original copy of Confirmation of Participation (required for Common Investment Trust Plan and Collective Trust Fund only)

a. For those who have lost their original copy of Confirmation of Participation, provide a notarized Affidavit of Loss
