1. What should I do after I receive the notification about MyWallet Prepaid Card upgrade?
Inform your employees and provide the Employee Guide for their reference. Kindly emphasize that they should provide to you their updated / latest mobile number until October 16, 2024.

Please submit to your Relationship Manager / Branch Manager / Business Development Manager the updated mobile numbers of your Employees via email using the attached excel file (Annex C: Template for Mobile Number Update) on or before October 25, 2024. Note that the format shall be a 10-digit number starting with 9 (Example: 09123456789 shall be encoded as 9123456789).

2. What will be the payroll cards for my new hires?
By October 25, 2024, issuances of new MyWallet Prepaid Payroll Cards will be discontinued. We will open a payroll savings account for your new employees which will be linked to MyDebit Cards.

3. Where do I credit the salary of my employees with MyWallet Prepaid Payroll Cards?
Crediting of salary to the MyWallet Prepaid Payroll Cards of your Employees is only until December 31, 2024. Until this date, two payroll credit files will be prepared:

a. Payroll Credit File with list of MyWallet Prepaid Card Numbers
b. Payroll Credit File with list of new MyDebit - payroll savings account numbers opened starting October 28, 2024.

You will start receiving the list of new account numbers of your MyWallet Prepaid Cardholders from November 5, 2024 until December 9, 2024 via email. These account numbers shall be reflected in the payroll credit file with the other account numbers starting January 2, 2025.

Note that all MyWallet Prepaid Payroll Cards will be deactivated and cannot be used for transactions by January 10, 2025.

4. Any changes on the payroll credit processing after December 31, 2024 payroll credit cut-off?
The only change is the data in the payroll credit file where the MyWallet Card Numbers shall be updated to the new MyDebit Payroll Savings Account Numbers of the Employees. No change in the channel and the template.

5. Can we already credit to the new MyDebit Cards even before the December 31, 2024 payroll credit cut-off?
You may credit to the new MyDebit Cards even before the December 31, 2024 payroll credit cut-off provided that you have already:

a. received all of your Employees’ new account numbers to be populated in the payroll credit file moving forward
b. distributed all of the new MyDebit Cards to the Employees for their activation

 

Employee (MyWallet Prepaid Cardholder) FAQs

1. Do I have to submit any document for the upgrading activity?
Applicable to existing Employees with MyWallet Payroll Cards

There is no need to submit any document for the upgrading activity. However, please take note that to enable over-the-counter (OTC) withdrawal transactions from your new payroll savings account, the Employee is instructed to visit the nearest RCBC branch and accomplish a Signature Card to complete the upgrading of account.

2. Where will I receive my salary during the upgrading activity?
Your Employer will credit your salary via your MyWallet until December 31, 2024 payroll cut-off. Note that by January 10, 2025, all existing MW Payroll Cards will be deactivated and can no longer be used for any transaction.

3. What will happen to my funds in MyWallet Card during the upgrading activity?
You may use your MyWallet Card for transactions until January 9, 2025. Starting January 10, 2025, your MyWallet Card cannot be used for transactions.

Any remaining balance will be automatically transferred to your new MyDebit Card.

4. How do I activate my new MyDebit Card?
You will receive your temporary ATM PIN via your registered mobile number. Upon receipt of your new card, please change your PIN immediately. The PIN will only be valid for 30 days.

Please provide your latest mobile number to your HR until October 16, 2024.
