RCBC Touch Account Opening Online

What do I need to open an account online?

You would need a desktop/laptop/mobile phone or a tablet with internet connection to open an account online.  Kindly ensure that you have a Philippine mobile number and an updated email address. 

 

Who can open an account online?

Individual clients, except In Trust For (ITF) and Joint Accounts

Filipino citizen with any of the following Philippine government-issued IDs (Philippine Passport, UMID, PRC, Driver’s License, SSS ID, Postal ID)

 

What are the requirements and acceptable IDs to open an account online?

a. Any one (1) of the following Philippine Government-issued IDs

    • Driver’s License
    • Passport
    • Postal ID
    • PRC ID
    • UMID
    • SSS ID

b. Philippine mobile number

c. Email address

 

When can I apply for an account online?

RCBC Touch is available 24/7; please feel free to apply anytime, anywhere.

 

What is the minimum age to open an account online?

You should at least be 18 years old. 

 

How do I open an account online?

Simply follow these steps:

  1. Go to RCBC Touch page touch.rcbc.com, select a Product, and agree to the Terms and Conditions
  2. Fill out the Online Form
  3. Nominate your user ID to enroll in RCBC Online Banking
  4. Submit your government-issued ID and complete the ID verification process
  5. Submit your duly accomplished application
  6. Check your email on the status of your application.

 

How long will it take to activate the account?

If everything is complete and in order, activation of account will happen within 24 hours. We will send you an email advisory on the status of your account application. 

 

How do I fund the account that I will open?

Fund your account in any of the two different ways:  

  1. Online fund transfer via InstaPay or PESONet
  2. Deposit over-the-counter of the accountholder at any RCBC branch nationwide.

 

What are the types of accounts that I can open online?

Choose from the suite of RCBC Deposit products that can be opened in RCBC Touch:  

  • OneAccount
  • Dragon Savings Account
  • eWoman Savings Account
  • GoSavers
  • Regular ATM Savings
  • Regular Savings Passbook
  • Dragon Checking Account
  • eWoman Checking Account
  • Regular Checking Account

 

Up to how much can I deposit/maintain in my deposit account?

Initially, the account can only accept up to PhP100,000 deposit/credit per day, and maintain up to a total of PhP100,000 balance in the account.

Limits can be lifted upon completion of post video validation or visit to any RCBC Branch.  

 

How do I claim my ATM Card/Passbook/Checkbook/Transaction Journal?

Your ATM card, passbook, checkbook and/or transaction journal will be provided when you visit your preferred RCBC branch.  A gentle reminder to bring the government-issued ID submitted during your account opening in RCBC Touch when you visit the branch

For those who opened a Checkbook type of Account, once the account is opened and funded, kindly order your checkbook via RCBC Online Banking before proceeding to the branch.  

 

May I start using my newly opened account even if I have not claimed ATM card, passbook, checkbook and/or transaction journal from my preferred RCBC Branch?

Once you have submitted your application and received your account number, you may enjoy using your account.  Transactions like paying your bills, fund transfer to other RCBC accounts and other banks or withdraw via card less means using RCBC Online Banking may already be performed.

 

Can I open multiple accounts via RCBC Touch?

You may only open (1) account via RCBC Touch. 

 

What if I already have an RCBC account? Can I open a new account via RCBC Touch?

If you are already an existing RCBC Account holder and you wish to open another account, kindly log on to www.rcbconlinebanking.com to open an additional account. 

 

What if I fail to fund my account?

We highly encourage you to fund your account within 10 calendar days from the date of your account opening. Your account will automatically be closed if it remains unfunded beyond 10 calendar days from the date of your application.
