Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) bagged awards for two marketing campaigns during the recently held 2019 BMAP Marketing awards.
RCBC’s program for GoSavers, a savings account for children ages 0 to 21 years old, won the Best Kiddie Savings Program. The program focuses on promoting the habit of saving to children in support of the Banking On Your Future (BOYF) program of the BSP by making GoSavers affordable and accessible. This included conducting nationwide roadshows to various schools and participation in local community events to promote financial literacy amongst the youth.
The bank’s branding campaign dubbed “We Believe in You”, brought home the Best Brand Program Award. The campaign, which was rolled out in July 2017, presented a new and revitalized RCBC making the brand more relevant and relatable to its target audience. Since its implementation in 2017, the bank has sported a new logo that carries a new tagline, “We Believe in You” which was communicated through TV, Out-of-home (OOH), print and digital media.
“To be recognized by our peers and pillars in the industry is indeed an honor for the bank and it will continue to serve as our inspiration to be the best financial partner to our clients ,” RCBC Chief Marketing Officer Ces Natividad said. Now on its third year, the BMAP Marketing Awards recognizes outstanding campaigns and programs in the banking industry to promote best practices in the field of Marketing. This award is presented by the Bank Marketing Association of the Philippines (BMAP), an association of banking institutions that seek to uplift the practice of bank marketing in the country.
Earlier in the year, RCBC bagged several marketing awards for various product programs including RCBC MyDebit Gift Back Promo and RCBC MyWallet Virtual Card among others.
