Taking online banking transactions to the next level, Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) and RCBC Savings Bank have recently launched the Touch Q Lobby Management System in select pilot branches in Metro Manila.
The RCBC Touch Q is a self-service teller assist kiosk in the branch that conveniently pre-stages customers' banking transactions. It provides assistance to customers in financial and non-financial transactions like cash and check deposits, cash withdrawal, check encashment, bills payment, fund transfer, MyWallet reloading, account opening among many others.
The system manages the traffic inside a branch through a smart queuing system.
"RCBC's constant transformation of its core processes including its branches proves its long-term commitment to bringing smarter banking solutions closer and more conveniently to its customers. We plan to roll-out this innovation strategically in more branches in the coming months," said RCBC First Senior Vice President and Head of Retail Banking Raul Victor B. Tan.
The system is initially offered in RCBC branches in Quezon Avenue, Ermita, Legaspi Village in Makati, Mandaluyong, Pasig, and Rosario EPZA in Cavite.
RCBC Savings Bank, the consumer banking arm of RCBC, has also started offering the service in its branches in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig and Pacific Place in Ortigas.
In the near future, customers can access the RCBC Touch Q on the web and through mobile apps (both Apple and Android) even before going to the branch. Upon completion of the online transactions, a QR code or reference number will be generated which customers can use for queue prioritization in the branch.
